Secure SSL SMTP

Should you have purchased SMTP outgoing email with 3DPixel.net we can offer you a secure method of connection over 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Combined with our IMAP and POP3 over SSL connections, 3DPixel.net can now offer you end to end email encryption.

Common Errors:

Q: The 'test account' feature says my email is incorrectly set!
A: Never use the 'test account' feature. Actually try to send yourself an email. The test features on most email clients cannot deal with a different outgoing server than the incoming.

Q: I get a message saying '553 recipient is not in my rcpthosts!' or similar.
A: You have not ticked the option 'my server requires authentication'. The server thinks you are attempting to relay email without authorisation i.e. the same as a spammer would try to send email.

Q: The options you list are not in my email client!
A: Send us a ticket and we may be able to help you although we are not intricately familiar with every email client in existance. We should be able to help you. Most options listed are in the advanced settings in the email account options.

Q: I've entered the settings but my mail will still not send.
A: Although it sounds patronising and simple, many email clients do not accept changes without a restart to the program itself. Derivatives of Microsoft Outlook (express) are especially noted for this. Restart the client and retry.
