Awstats With Plesk

By default Plesk ships with the webalizer statistics program. For users who want an alternate on-server statistics implementation are faced with choosing analog, or awstats.

Awstats is a sophisticated out-of-the-box web log analysis program that provides statistics in more detail to the basic webalizer software.

Integrating this with Plesk required a custom script to be written that could update with plesk and the general changing of details, passwords etc.. that go with a hosting account.

3DPixelNet customers who take a business account can get awstats added to their account on request.

This script is added for admins who wish to add awstats to their plesk installs and historical reasons:

* note to admins, no support is provided with this script
** note to admins, this requires a standard install of awstats preinstalled

This script is presented 'as is'. Use as you wish.
