PHP4 & PHP5: 3DPixel.net operates both PHP4 and PHP5 on the same server. PHP4 via mod_php and PHP5 via mod_fastcgi. If you require PHP5 please select 'PHP5 support' when configuring your account. WebDav: (on request) will be installed in your /dav directory. Password protected, it will allow authorised users to upload calendars, contacts, events from WebDav compatible programs such as Mozilla Sunbird, Apple iCal etc.. (Any program that can issue events in .ical format).

Collect Email in the way that you want either via an email client or via our online mail system. You can connect to these services over SSL (secure socket layer) for maximum protection.

Using Parellels Plesk, you can manage your email setup in as much detail as you wish.

Email Aliasing: Great for registering with companies/websites as a unique email address specific for that purpose. Any emails to thatcompany@yourdomain.com will essentially forward to your main email address. (hint: this can also be a good way to see which company/website has given/sold your email address).

Mail Groups: Useful if you have emails that need to be sent to a group of email addresses at once but only using a single email address.

Redirects: Redirect your email to another address to avoid having to set up or maintain multiple email addresses. Redirects can be used to send email to an account not hosted by 3dpixelnet.

Autoresponders: If you're away from your email for a while (holidays etc..) an autoresponder can tell people who send you an email that you're not at your machine. Totally customisable via plesk it can also be set up to be 'smart' i.e. if you receive 10 emails from someone in one day it will only send them one autoresponder message.

Manage multiple domain names under the same account allowing you to resell space to your own customers using the domain_user feature, limiting that customer to that single domain.

Track your site's progress using the webstats package on each domain. Plesk also contains bandwidth and diskspace usage breakdowns.

Backup your site periodically using Parellels Plesk. You can choose to store those backups on the server (using disk space), or backup automatically to a remote FTP repository of your choosing.

We recognise that you will often use a website authoring program such as Microsoft Frontpage or Dreamweaver to create your site. Our servers are fully compatibile with the automated upload procedures these programs use.

3DPixel.net makes use of the spamassassin spam filtering project, coupled with custom rules to ensure a maximum rate of spam detection. Emails flagged as spam have the subject rewritten to ****SPAM**** allowing easy client-side filtering.

We recognise that many customers wish to make use of external email systems, and/or home webservers. Our DNS panel makes adding/editing/removing DNS records as easy as possible.

Customise A / MX / CNAME / TXT / PTR / NS records. We do not place restrictions on the amount of records you can add / edit per domain.

Using domain names purchased at 3dpixel.net, or indeed domains purchased elsewhere, host them at 3dpixel.net using the easy-to-use domain creation utility in Plesk. Assign resources within your overall account limits to your domains in whatever ratio you see fit.
