MS Exchange Spam Integration

Easily sync your Microsoft Exchange Server to our Trap25 anti-spam systems!

Use our 3DPixel-built application to sync your list of emails, aliases, groups, redirects to our spam systems to prevent dictionary attacks and mail bombs before they even start.

The application installs as a service on the Exchange server, and connects every 20 minutes over 256-bit encrypted SSL to our servers to provide a list of email addresses currently in use on Exchange.

No other information is provided to our servers aside from this listing.

We then invite you to point your domain email MX records to our Trap25 system, and firewall the incoming email port (TCP port 25) to all servers except a list of Trap25 server IPs we provide. This will ensure that all email goes via Trap25 and not directly to your Exchange server.

MX Backup

Our Trap25 systems act as a full MX backup for your externally hosted Exchange server. If, for whatever reason, mail cannot be delivered to your server (it's offline, office internet is down, maintenance etc), Trap25 will continue to accept and hold mail for 7 days. Once the Exchange server comes back online, the mail will be delivered over a few hours.
