The VAT Man – Lovely People
Someone said to me today, “we’re not going vat registered, it’s too difficult”. Our experience of this was that they are the friendliest set of people we spoke to in the year. Wonder why?
You suddenly turn round to them and say, “Dear Mr VAT man, we’ve decided recently that we’re going to add 17.5% to our prices, or indeed absorb that 17.5% but either way we’re going to give you a shed load of money you were not getting before. Can you help us pay you more efficiently?”.
Yes. No wonder they’re friendly.
